VN June 2023
Vetnuus | June 2023 24 Animal welfare workers in South Africa report that the never- ending wave of welfare required is due to a number of problems. Many animal owners not having access to veterinary care or the economic status of owners who can not afford private veterinary services. SAVA-CVC supports & stimulates the growth of low-income primary veterinary clinics in South Africa addressing animal welfare at the source in order to prevent the problems that animal shelters unfortunately have to respond to. CVC clinics provide education and primary veterinary care including vaccinations, deworming, tick and flea treatments and sterilizations to very low-income communities. SAVA-CVC is extremely grateful to Virbac that is helping us to foster the growth of these clinics with their donation of 5000x tick and flea treatments. Attached a few photos of our recent CVC clinics. v An initiative of the SOUTH AFRICAN VETERINARY ASSOCIATION Non-profit Company: 1998/016654/08 Non-profit Organisation: 000-234 NPO Public Benefit Organisation: 130001321 CVC News I CVC Nuus Virbac 2023 sponsorship of SAVA-CVC clinics Dr Tayisha (CCS vet at West Coast CVC).
