Vetnuus | November 2022 26 Day 2 ended with Gary being in the lead over Ueli by 3 points and 19 points ahead of Uwe in lying 3 rd . On day 3, all archers in positions 1 to 3 shot a full score with an unchanged ranking and a more significant gap with the 4 th position (Gary being ahead of 4 th by 26 points). Day 4 saw Gary shooting exceptionally well, resulting in a lead over Ueli in second place at 18 and Uwe in third place at 34. On the final day, Gary shot a score of 529, 14 less than an exceptional score by Ueli, to clinch the lead by 4 points out of a possible 2800. The fight for the top 2 positions was particularly closely contested, whilst the 3 rd position at the end of the tournament was 41 points behind the leader. Third and fourth position was also very closely contested, with Uwe taking 3 rd by 1 point. A sad moment for Werner (another South African), who was lying 3 rd at the last target of the tournament.
