VN November 2022
Vetnuus | November 2022 22 The final year classmates of 1972 had their fiftieth-year reunion at Berg en Dal camp in the Kruger National Park recently. It proved to be an exceptional occasion following on the fortieth and forty-fifth reunions. Buzz Bowker took the initiative to make all the arrangements for the get-together. A great thanks to him and Marion for their efforts! We had four days of wonderful camaraderie, sharingmemories and humorous incidents fromOP days! The reunion was well attended by all who could manage to travel to the KNP. Nineteen colleagues, with their spouses, were present. Unfortunately, Jean D`Offay injured himself in a fall and could not make the trip from America. There was also the sad passing away of Duncan Prinsloo two weeks before the reunion. The Class also remembered those of us who had passed away over the years. They were sorelymissed. The achievements of the class of 72 in the fifty years after graduation are indeed awe-inspiring. We leave a proud legacy for our profession in the veterinary field and inmany other spheres, both nationally and internationally. We hope to get together in the near future again, DeoVolente.
